1. What are the THREE WhyTry Trainings?

1. What are the three (3) WhyTry Trainings?
WhyTry offers a 5-day training cycle for professionals using the WhyTry Program. The complete training cycle consists of three separate modules:
• 2-day WhyTry Facilitator Training
• 2-day WhyTry Hands-on Training
• 1-day WhyTry Advanced Techniques Training

2 Day WhyTry Facilitator Training
WhyTry Facilitator Training is a two-day course developed to prepare professionals to use the WhyTry Program in a real-world practice setting. The course includes discussion of each Visual Analogy, using the WhyTry music, using the WhyTry Experiential Activities and discussion of applications in different settings. Schedule: The Facilitator Training is generally scheduled from 8:30am to 3:30pm on two consecutive days.

2 Day WhyTry Hands-on Training
The WhyTry Hands-on Training focuses on the experiential activities for each of the WhyTry visual metaphors. This training will cover materials needed, safety rules, set-up, running the activity, and processing the activity with the visual metaphor. The hands-on learning activities are particularly important in group environments for increasing participation, personal success and life learning among those involved. This training is useful for anyone using WhyTry, regardless of his or her experience level.

1 Day WhyTry Advanced Techniques Training
The WhyTry Advanced Techniques Training is a one-day event designed for professionals who have been using the WhyTry Program for some period of time and are ready for new skills and ideas to work through challenges in the classroom. It includes useful ideas about framing lessons, running activities, and surrendering the one-up relationship that just can’t fit into the Facilitator Training.
